Established in 1985, Beijing North Institute of Biological Technology ( BNIBT in short ) which is affiliated to China Isotope Corporation, is a state-owned enterprise, specializing in reseaching and developing, producing and marketing of In-vitro diagnostic reagents. As a matter of fact, it is the main one of few pioneers that introduced radioimmunoassay (RIA) technology into China.

    BNIBT has a very solid talent base ensuing strong innovative potency. Over 70% of its staff is university graduates and over 25% holds senior technical titles. Its laboratory building, with 3500 square meters floor area, equipped with advanced facilities and in line with the requirement of GMP standard, provides an annual production capacity of over 200,000 kits.

    In 1999, BNIBT was granted ISO9002 certificate.

    Since establishment, BNIBT has always been among the biggest and most competitive suppliers in China regarding to the RIA products and some ELISA kits. Now BNIBT can manufacture over 90 kinds of RIA kits in 9 series and over 40 kinds of ELISA products. BNIBT and its quality products have won an excellent reputation among its customers all over China and some products have been warmly accepted in southeast asia countries for several years.
